My first "II" was a Franklin Ace 500 (something like a //e, only in a //c style unexpandable case). I got frustrated that the monitor prompt was a % instead of a * like a real Apple, so I got a II+, //e, a IIgs, and maybe a few other toys sitting around.

I like programming II's in Forth. I've been trying to master C on and off, but have given it up until I get Orca/C 2.xxx (currently 1.1, and some APW C).

Recently, I've tried to become expert on modifying the ZipGSX accelerator, as well as patching together Sonic Blasters. Also, I've been having fun with Sirius Ram cards that don't like to recognize more than 4 megs total system memory (i got it fixed, finally, when Alltech sent me a new one and an RMA#).

The IIgs is my main computer (and the only one on my desk at the moment). My primary applications are telecommunications and word processing, with a little graphics-viewing on the side.

Currently, I'm running on a Rom 3 IIgs with 6.25 Megabytes, a Grappler+, a ZipGSX 7/32k/32k, RamFAST 'C', Sonic Blaster, and a Sirius RAM.
