I've downloaded all of the jpeg images for closer review and varification from my friend Steve Wozniak, to view and tell me what he thinks of them. What's "Rocky" up to these days? What's his take on Apple's current position(ing)? Is he still up for changing the world-a second time? If so, ask him to contact me. >I will contact you by email before 3PM on Monday with an answer, then we can start the final portion of this deal. Great! If you do buy it, I'll miss it greatly. I think it's value is immeasurable as it truely changed the world. >Could you tell me how much you payed for it and from whom you purchased it? I owned a computer store (Computer Solutions - Apple dealer #31 - and the world's oldest Apple-only dealership when I sold it in 84) traded an Apple II (16K) to a kid whose dad worked for Ampex and had bought it at a homebrew meeting (or so the story goes). He gave it to his son to play with but the kid wanted something better. So he called and asked if we could connect an Apple I to a tv. I said yes, we were big into video apps with the II. He brought it in, we talked and he walked away with a brand new Apple II amid big smiles all around. I first made him get written permission from his father and grandmother (with whom he was staying) to make the trade. What method would we be able to work out for shipment, etc. would aalso be appreciated. I suppose we can use the banks as escrow agents or whatever. >Also, does it have any serial number on it anywhere? If so, what is the serial number? And, finally does it work? I've never seen a serial number, but then I've never taken the board out of the case. Ask Steve where it would be if they used them. The documentation that came with it when I got it When we got it, we plugged it in and flipped the switch. Voila! the little prompt came up just like it was supposed to do. Haven't turned it on since. I would certainly have a qualified tech scope the power supply and whatever else before I sent juice to the board. Terry
